How good can the sequel be? Gameplay: The gameplay in SML2 is excellent. The style of play is reminiscent of Super Mario Bros. 3 on the NES. It's pretty much Mario-style hop and bop action, but there are a few things that set it apart. The power-ups are a little different this time around. Graphics: The graphics in SML2 are great. Mario is large and well-detailed as are his enemies. The backgrounds are very nicely done as well. Sound: The sound is standard Mario, but it's done very well. Music: The music is great. It lives up to the Mario standard of great music. Play Control: As with all Mario games, the control is perfect. Final Analysis: This is a great game that all Gameboy fans should own.
