Tetris Review. By Nintendo Review by the Avardancer Size: 512 Kilobits Save: None. Released: 1989 Works with: Any version of Gameboy Opening Snide Remarks: This is Tetris. That's all you need to know.Every system has some type of Tetris game. This has spawned so many sequels it's amazing. There's Tetris Attack, Tetris Blast, Tetris 2, Tetrisphere, Bio Tetris, Tetris and Dr. Mario, etc. You have probably played this game or one of it's clones at some point in time. Gameplay: A Tetris is four. You just make lines to clear the ever descending blocks to earn points. A Tetris is when you clear four lines at once. If the blocks get to high.... the game is over. This is addictive. It's got a stupid concept; but it has the best addictiveness ever. There's also two modes to play in this game. It's great. This is the best game ever made; according to EGM magazine. Don't let that sway you. It's addictive beyond comparison. It's good. It's emersive. You will want to play it. It's so simple; as a good game should be. It's just good. It's VERY good. Graphics: Solid and easy to see. Nice little scenes that you earn by getting certain amounts of points. (Lots of points.) The blocks all have different looks to them. The graphics look fantastic when used on a Super Gameboy; despite the fact that the game has no Super Gameboy Enchancements. Sound: Just falling bricks and landing bricks. (Thunk.) Good and crisp and clear. Although the music that plays when you score a Tetris sounds very strange. Music: Sticks in your brain. And you won't mind. It's good stuff. Play Control: Good, easy, simple; perfect. Final Analysis: Get this game; it's a sin to not own it. Gameplay: ***** Graphics: *** Sound: **** Music: **** Play Control: ***** Total: 21 Final Grade: 84% Currently Known Codes Super Hard: Push and hold "UP" om the control pad; when you select a "1 Player" game. A little heart will show up on the gameplay screen. The game is now FASTER.
