Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 : Back From The Sewers Game by Konami Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: 1 Megabit Save: None Released: 1991 Works with: all Gameboy versions Opening Snide Remarks: The original TMNT game was excellent. Will this game be better ? Gameplay: This game plays pretty much like the first game did, but it is a little tougher. There are power-ups around but are not as plentiful as in the first game. Graphics: The graphics in this game are a step up from the first game. The characters are larger and better detailed, but the Ninja Turles themselves look less like they do in the comics than in the first game. You will be amazed at the level where you go into the sewer and walk through holes into another sewer line. Sound: The sound effects in this game are excellent. They sound just like the ones used in the first game except this time there are some excellent voice samples as well. Music: The music in this game is excellent. It is very similar to the music in the first game except it sounds a little better. Play Control: The play control in TMNT 2 is excellent. The one change between this game and the first one is that the "A" button now makes your character jump and the "B" button now makes your character use his weapon. This control setup feels much more natural than the one used in the first game, but if you prefer the setup of the first you can change it. Final Analysis: This is an excellent game that is much better than the first. This game has excellent graphics, excellent sound, and excellent gameplay. TMNT 2 is a great game to add to your collection. Score Gameplay: **** Graphics: ***** Sound: ***** Music: **** Play Control: **** Total: 22 out of 25 Final Score: 88 % Currently Known Codes: None
