WWF Warzone Game by Acclaim Reviewed by Robby Cox koi@magicnet.net Size: 4 Megabits Save: Password Released: 1998 Works with: all Gameboy versions Opening Snide Remarks: How well will the WWF experience translate over to the Game Boy? I really liked the N64 version and I hope I like this version. Gameplay: This game plays really well. The WWF superstars have all of their trademark moves and can pull them off fairly easily. The wrestlers even have their actual finishing moves. This game is tough the first few times you play it, but you never end up feeling like you got cheated. If you lost, it was your fault. Graphics: The graphics in WWF Warzone are pretty good. The characters are large and fairly detailed. The wrestlers look like their actual selves. The biography screens and the screens between matches look really nice. The screens contain nicely detailed photos of the wrestlers. Sound: The sound effects are nicely done in this game. The punches and kicks sound like they should. Music: The music in WWF Warzone is excellent. The music actually gets you pumped up to kick some butt in the squared circle. Play Control: The play control is a mixed bag. The moves are easy to pull off when you win the grapple. But you can't really tell if you did unless you get to pull a move off. The turnbuckle moves are very easy to pulloff. Final Analysis: WWF Warzone is the best wrestling game on the Gameboy. This game has great graphics, sound, music, and gameplay. It's almost as good as the N64 version.
