Yoshi Game by Nintendo Review by Adrock gbcam@hotmail.com Size: 2 Megabits Save: None Released: 1992 Works with: Any version of Gameboy. **************************************************************************** Opening Snide Remarks: This Game Boy puzzle game may be a little hard to swallow for experts. **************************************************************************** Gameplay Descripion: What does this game have to do with Yoshi? No idea. It's like Burger Time, but they changed the bread to egg shells. Sigh. They could of kept the bread and called it "Mario's Pastrami on Rye Sandwich." Gee whiz. It's really easy to catch on, and it's really easy to master. Now that's not the way we do things in the Game Boy puzzle world. Liked: Fun to play sometimes. Hated: Too easy. Explain to me how throwing a whole bunch of enemies in an egg equals a Yoshi. **************************************************************************** Graphics Description: Cutesy graphics and a Mario theme. This game pretty fun to watch. But, other than that... basic... bland... You've seen it all before. Liked: Looks nice on a CGB I hear. Looks and feels like Mario. Hated: A big yawn to me. **************************************************************************** Sound/Music Description: It's your regular Mario thing. Liked: I liked the star tune a little. Hated: Average. **************************************************************************** Play Control/Game Design: You'll need a little time to catch on. Liked: Grows on you once you get the hang. Hated: Read up before you play. **************************************************************************** Improve: Harder difficulty levels. More depth. RIYL: Easy puzzle games. **************************************************************************** Final Words: Bland for the expert players. And I still think it should be Mario's Sandwich instead. Harumph. **************************************************************************** Score Gameplay: ** Graphics: *** Sound/Music: *** Play Control/Game Design: *** Personal Opinion: *** Total: 14/25 Final Score: %56 **************************************************************************** Currently Known Codes: None.
