Zoop Game by Viacom Review by The Avardancer Size: 512 Kilobits Save: None Released: 1995 Works with: Any version of Gameboy. Opening Snide Remarks: I saw this game for $5 at Wal-Mart. I have no idea what a "zoop" is. My best guess? Maybe it's an old fashion statement? C'mon! Sing it! Zoop Suit Riot! (Riot!) Throw back a bottle of beer. (For those young kids reading this; it's "Root Beer".) Maybe it's a fancy food? I want some Zoop with fries on the side! Maybe it's a disease? You have Zoop and I'm not sure if you'll live or not. Well; whatever it is; I bought it; and now I'll review it. Gameplay: This is classy. I got a good deal here. This is an addicting; if not occasionally confusing game. Make sure that you read the manual to find out what to do; even though you can pretty much figure it out on your own. Guide you triangle to pick up a tile and use that tile to destroy other tiles of the same kind. You get points and there's lots of variety thanks to the different power-ups that show up. Play it on level mode. That's the best! You can also "zoop" your friends! (That almost sounds dirty.) But; it's fun and if you are attentive; you maybe will win! Graphics: A little hard to see on a Normal Gameboy; play this one on Gameboy Pocket, El Lite Gameboy, Super Gameboy, or Gameboy Color; but don't play it on the old version; as you will find it even harder!! Sound: There's basically the same sounds that plague Gameboy games. But; this time they are put to a reasonable use. Music: Classic Jazz that fits the strange atmosphere of the game. I like the music. It's a smoking groove of a shinding cat! Most clive. (Read: It's very well made and not annoying.) Play Control: A little too touchy; and you may accidently over shoot; but that's not really the games fault. This game would rule in analog. (Hint.) Final Analysis: if you see a Zoop rom anywhere on the internet; the site on which it is on is committing a HUGE felony as the FIRST screen in the game says DON'T upload or download this game! Cool. I like this game. It's fun. And it is an aquired taste. If you perservere; then you'll stand a chance.
