Chamique Holdsclaw's list of athletic accomplishments is long and illustrious. She was named an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) All-American for three straight summers, as well as a USA Today All-American for three years in high school. As a college freshman, she earned NCAA All-Tournament honors at the final Four and the East Regionals, was selected to several All-America teams, and was named Rookie of the Year by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association. Holdsclaw topped those accolades her sophomore year, leading the University of Tennessee to a second consecutive NCAA Championship, earning MVP honors at the Final Four, being named Women's Sport Player of the Year by Sports Illustrated, receiving the Honda Award for basketball, and being selected to another slew of All-America teams. And she's sure to earn even more honors this year.

If that weren't enough, Holdsclaw led the USA National Team in scoring and rebounding in both of its tours during the summer of 1997, as the team's youngest and only collegiate player.
