History....

On September 15th 1997, the new "child" arrived.  As you can see from the picture most of the body work was done and in primer.   NOT!!   Primer hides a lot as I later found out.   The engine compartment, door jambs, and trunk were already "edged out" in what DuPont calls "Spectramaster Red"  This color is actually a bright orange and I fell in love with it right away.

As you can see, I bought the car "in boxes"  Mostly everything was taken apart in one way or another by the previous owner.  Parts were labeled  fairly well though.  Let the "games" begin!!!

From the pictures above the car looks pretty straight and that's one of the main reasons why I bought it.  Being new to the Mopar hobby, at the time I really didn't know what to look for as far as "numbers matching" or "rare options" or even "1 0f xxxxx" built.  All I saw was my Dream Car from when I was growing up as a kid watching "The Dukes of Hazzard.  (NO....I'm not afraid to admit it!!)
