Cheatham County Public Library

Collection

The Cheatham Library houses 16,521 items that are locally and regionally owned.  Paperback, audio, and video cassettes are part of the circulating items.  The library offers best sellers along with large print books.  Current periodicals and newspapers are available for leisure in house reading.  Art prints enhance the library collection with many depicting past local scenes.

For research in the reference / genealogy area, microfilm is available of county records, The Ashland City Times, and other records pertinent to the area.  NoveList-Guide to Fiction, EBSCOhost, CD-ROMs, and Internet access are among the technological features available.

The library is part of the TN Interlibrary Loan System enabling special request book ordering not available from the local collection.   Because of a partnership with TN libraries, the TN Library Card is a featured item.
