When we first moved-in, there was a wall-to-wall carpet here. Little did we know that there'd be two carpets actually and the bottom one was glued-down. When we pulled up the bottom carpet, the black rubber backing stayed down leaving our flooring contractor with nearly 350 sq.ft. of rubber gunk to sand off.
