Ingredients:

Potatoes - 5 or 6 medium sized
Mixed diced vegetables - 3 cups
(carrots, capsicum, peas).
Onions - 2
Basmathi rice - 4 cups
Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as requried
Lemon - 1 medium sized
Garam masala - 1/4 tsp
Grind together for Garam masala

Ginger - 1/4 inch piece
Garlic - 6 flakes
Green chillies - 4
Cilantro leaves - 1 big bunch
Grind with some water to paste.

Method:

Wash rice and keep aside.
Cut all the vegetables.Heat oil in a pan and fry onions to brown and remove.Fry capsicum and remove.Add some more oil, put cumin seeds and add rest of the vegetables including onions and capsicum.Add cinnamon stick, turmeric, red chilli powder,lemon juice and salt.Mix gently.
Add the garam masala and mix well.
Add all the fried vegetables along with the garam masala to rice and pressure cook it for 10 minutes.
After removing from fire, mix gently, garnish with cilantro and serve hot!!
