Dear visitors

  During the past months, my academic responsibilities have increased tremendously. No matter how much I love R.E.M., it has become impossible for me to find enough time to update and maintain this website properly. It has been frustrating to have so many ideas in mind and not being able to implement them. So, I had to take the most unpleasant decision to officially quit "Athens - An Unofficial Page About R.E.M.".

  Back in 1998, when I first built my R.E.M page, there was still no official R.E.M site, and there were only a few fanpages. Today there are plenty of high-quality sites where fans can find all the information they want.

  I want to thank all my visitors during these years. I really wish that someday, I will be able to re-launch this website and run it the way it deserves to the most important band our generation!
