The photo below shows the band playing its signature tune 'The Games', as it leads the champion bands onto the parade ground. This photo was taken in 1995, which is the year the band won the grade 4 national title, and as far as the band is aware, it was the first time that a grade 4 band had the honour of leading on the champion bands.

The photo below was taken at the 1995 National Contest held in Nelson. This was the bands second ever National Contest, and the contest where the band won the grade 4 title. The band was regraded to grade 3 on the strength of their performance.

The photo above was taken at the 1994 National Contest held in Tauranga. This was the bands first National Contest, which they fiinished a commendable 3rd place. The band had been going only 6 months when they atended this contest. Attending this contest was only possible due to the national associations agreement to let the band parade without jackets.
