We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change the way that people see our history, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make our hobby better. Remember "In Unity There Is Strength" This site will represent our organization's cause or ideas to the Reenacting Community. As communicating isn't always easy, we'll try to include photos and images that convey our message (remember, a well-chosen picture is a great way to get a point across). We'll also include specific information about our organization.
This site was created for both the Union and the Confederate Reenactors and Civilians. Egos are to left outside, all that enter into the Alliance have one goal in mind and that is to work as a team, to bring the best events, living histories, and commarodity to the hobby here on Long Island. Here you will find a pooling of resources, ideas, and anything that may better our hobby.

Mission Statement It is the mission of this Alliance to bring together the Reenactors and Civilians, and Event Hosts of Long Island under one unified umbrella to:
1-Share information
2-Have a central point of Communications
3-To set up non-conflicting event dates
4-A resource pool, for when fellow reenactors can help one and another out.
5-To offer a place to talk with others through the Alliances EGroup either by Postings or Chat Sessions
6-To offer special things to the Reenactors ie Insurance etc
