Welcome to the Collegiate MENC: The National Association for Music Education, chapter 486 website. Our chapter is hosted in the Troy State University School of Music. We are a member and active participant in both the Alabama Music Educators Association and the Music Educators National Conference.

Collegiate MENC is a student affiliate of MENC: The National Association for Music Education. Through this organization, students are enabled to attend state and national conventions as participating members. The purpose of Collegiate MENC is to make available opportunities for professional devlopment as well as acquaint students with the privileges and responsibilities in the profession of music education.
