7. Do you have any debts?
8. Do you belong to any social or political groups?
9. How much and what kinds of insurance do you have?
These questions while subtle are often questions to screen you out and are in all context illegal to ask.
11. Have you ever had or been treated for any of these conditions or diseases? (followed by a checklist)
12. Have you been hospitalized? What for?
13. Have you ever been treated by a psychiatrist or psychologist?
14. Have you had a major illness recently?
15. How many days of work did you miss last year because of illness?
16. Do you have any disabilities or impairments that might affect your performance in this job?
17. Are you taking any prescribed drugs?
18. Have you ever been treated for drug addiction or alcoholism?
In some cases there will be actual declared disabilities and the following questions are appropriate and in the correct context.
19. Is there any specific technology that you currently use or have used in your previous jobs that assisted you in your work
performance?
20. Other than technology, what supports did you have in previous jobs? If none, are there any you would benefit from?
21. Is there any technology that you don’t currently have that would be helpful to you in performing the job
duties of this position?
Many companies ask female applicants questions they don’t ask males. Here are a few to watch for:
