Washington Village Playgroup is a well established group which has been running
now for more than 27 years.

We take children who are aged 2 years and 10 months + but younger childrens
names can be added to our waiting list.

Although children can be left with the two qualified leaders Andrea and Laura
parents are encouraged to help out on a rota system. When a parent or carer
helps out a playgroup it gives them a chance to see what goes on there and what
activities their child takes part in.

The group provides opportunities where children can experiment, experience, learn
and develop through play activities. All of our play activities are carefully
chosen so that all children can enhance their social skills, gross and fine motor skills,
intellect, cultural awareness and emotional development.

We have a strong equal opportunities policy and believe that no child should ever
be discriminated against because of their race, colour, gender, disability or religious
beliefs.

We run sessions on Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.30 am - 11.20 am and the fee
is £2 per session.
