Eugene Ellsworth Coy Family-My father,and his children
9th generation COY's.We had the welcome home Connie party in Aug.1997 at Aunt Marilyn's home.I haven't been back to the mid-west in a while.My Great-Aunt Carlie and Great-Uncle Clyde joined us from Hartford City,Ind. Charlene is my father's and aunt's only surviving Aunt on their mother,Ferne Margaret Trehearne Coy's side of the family.

Aunt Marilyn always makes sure we play plenty of games, and the small children are always entertained too.She goes to great lengths to be our resident social director.

So Aunt Carlie would be an in-law (7th generation)to the Coy's.Dad and Aunt Marilyn,(8th),his kids (9th)their children (10th)a couple had to work and couldn't attend,and finishing it off was a couple of our children making the (11th generation).The Family gathering's live on.

All of children are 9th generation COY's

(photo below)Sheryl,Connie,Tracey,Erin,Jackie,Mary,Don,Karen,Dad,David touring Texas.We went to the JFK Memorial in downtown Dallas.This photo was taken in fron the street where the motorcade passed, and the book deposit building is about less than 1/4 of a block in front of where we were facing for this photo.

Our little lost lamb Mary found her way back to the fold, and we all had wonderful sibiling gathering.

1983-The Annual COY Family Christmas photo
This was a family tradition for over 32 yrs,until my mother passed away in 1995.We also used to send a family newsletter. The holidays were quite a production at our house, the execution began in October under mom's direction. She always made sure we all were color co-ordinated or some years we all would have matching sweaters.
The 30 years of family Christmas photos is one of my other prized possesions that my parents gave David and I for Christmas.

The book is alot of fun to look at now because it covers the latest hair style's and clothing styles.The mid 1970's baby blue lesisure suits, and earth shoes are a gas.Also the year of the wide white belt's and white dress shoes,on the men! Those were the days my friends, I'm glad they did end.

Eugene Ellsworth Coy has 6 children,10 grand-children,and 2 great-grandchildren,3 when I add a blended marriage
