Freeman's Manifesto From: dnorm@ix.netcom.com (David Norman) Date: Mon, 19 Feb 1996 13:17:59 -0800 T h e F r e e m a n 's M a n i f e s t o This document is derived from beliefs and views developed since 1973. (BACKGROUND REVIEW) Human events long governed by necessity have historically related the innate interdependence of individuals to Nature, families and to any constructed society which partake of the function of family. Human worth is generally known and measured by its degree of conformity or readiness for compliance to any presentment of need by such entities rather than by the installation of agreements between equals. This attitude of social challenge has intitiated formalisation of life through evidences such as law or prayer. What are meant to be simple and basic processes are complicated by external constraints which cause the individual to defer to that entity, now acting as competitor to the person's original intents. Government and Religion, when these are institutionalised, perform damages to individuals by smothering self-initiative by compelling devotion rather that nurturing creativity and character development. This simple situation is presented here as the root core to the age-old conflict between privacy and public living. Socialism and Capitalism both are caused by escalation of the original fearful quarrel of man versus his physical or social environment. Religion in mankind is also affected by this problem due to instinctive natural response to Nature is often mixed with personality concepts; these issues of personality fuel insecurity and thus attempts to contrive appeasing resolutions. Genuine relationships with live personalities must be preserved and kept intact without imposing external priorities. Genuine Religion, especially original Christianity, is based not on organization but on a relationship with the person Jesus Christ whose scripturally recorded sacrifice prepared an amnesty not constriction or restraint for those selecting loyal allegiance to him. He, as an accepted God, does not violate innate human nature. He related a restoration process wherein love, refreshing, cleanness, truth and honor are imparted and bestowed. Healing in the heart is the non-institutionalised Christian message while rule implimentation characterises any institutional Religion. My personal struggle has followed this exact pattern; namely the transition from fear of the dictator under whose grip I was helpless to hope in the deliverance power of the specific person of my choice, who I would allow to rescue me. All people require relief from the confinements of external dominion by power users or control seeking clubs, corporations, governments or any such societies. A proper use for societies is to participate in magnifying and intensifying the hope of the individual rather than reckless self-nourishment. (TEXT STATEMENT) It is hereby resolved, that to overcome the injustice of fear and needless human regret, the historic habit and implied policy of formal institutionalisation of relationships must be abolished. The private and public havoc which has relentlessly proceeded from interferences by various forms of corporations must by the Will of freemen be relieved. Anguish to create liberty has mistakenly been utilised unto the vain inventing of artificial cultures, kingdoms, constitutional governments and systems of behaviour geared to regulate or tame men rather than to lift the layers of useless blind obedience that degrades human dignity. Whether it be a matter of earthly practice or eternal faith, there is no place in a civilised world for the worst describable incivility: the dominion of man over man! Human conduct demands correction to reflect our intended great world objectives. We freemen can undo the insensitive and impersonal social, political and economic monoliths by consenting to them no more and refusing them jurisdiction, venue and access to our souls; which is even claimed as merchandise by deceivers. Whether it psychological tyranny or social supervision, the constructs of human design will extract human hope and return regret and grief. Announce that you don't adhere neither do you assent anymore to the insistences of the rich and powerful; you're not available anymore for slavery under their Admiralty/Maritime Martial rule or law; you won't follow their Mass media commands anymore; you refuse to buy with their credit cards or believe with their contrived religions: you are free! Now as Sovereign men liberated by bravery and hope relinquish your allegiance to any of them and experience the joy of God's intended love prepared for you that seek it by Jesus Christ The Lord!
