- A National Vaccine Injury
Fund was set up by the federal government in 1986 to
compensate those damaged by vaccines. To date nearly $920
million has been paid out.
- 579 deaths have been
adjudicated through the Federal Court of Claims since the
inception of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation
Program in 1986. 227 were misdiagnosed as SIDS.
- A fact sheet given out by
CDC asks if the recipient is allergic to neomycin,
streptomycin or polymycin B (antibiotics) as that might
be a contraindication to the polio vaccine. A parent
cannot know this fact if the infant has not had these
antibiotics.
- A child who receives the
MMR vaccine can still get measles. (This occurred in 1987
in Texas where 96% of the cases were considered
non-preventable, i.e. they were fully vaccinated, had a
religious or medical exemption or they were born before
1957. This also occurred in 1989 in Texas where 72% of
the cases were considered non-preventable.) These facts
are from the Texas Department of Health.
- Oct/Nov 1990, clinical
mumps developed in 54 students. 53 out of 54 were fully
vaccinated! Reported in Archives of Pediatrics &
Adolescent Medicine, July 1995; 149 (7):774-778.
- In Los Angeles in 1990 and
1991, about 1500 minority infants were enrolled in an EZ
measles experimental vaccine study. Parents were not told
that the vaccine their babies got was experimental and
were not warned about immediate or long term risks.
- Healthy infants are given
Hep B vaccine even though the vaccine was developed to
protect drug addicts who share unsterilized needles or
sexually active people.
- Vaccines contain
carcinogenic toxins (Formaldehyde and Thimersol) and are
being injected into 2/4/6 month old infants whose immune
systems are not fully developed.
- Children vaccinated
against pertussis can still contract the disease.
(Chicago Department of Health noted that of 186 pertussis
cases in Chicago fall of 1993, "74% were as up to
date as possible on their immunizations.") JAMA,
July 7, 1994).
- Tylenol is given to
infants and children when a shot is administered to mask
a fever that could show there might be a problem with the
vaccine.
- Informed consent means the
parent/guardian is given time to read, understand and
research the information about the risks and dangers of
vaccines; it does not mean getting that information at
the same time the shot is administered.
- From 1983-1993 in Texas
there were 11351 cases of Measles and 26 deaths.
Additionally, there were 1768 cases of Pertussis and 10
deaths.
- The Chickenpox and Rubella
vaccines have been cultured in cells from aborted fetuses.
- There were nearly 54,000
vaccine adverse events reported to the Vaccine Adverse
Events Reporting System (VAERS) in a 20-month period
which included more than 700 deaths. FDA Commissioner,
David Kessler stated only 1 in 10 adverse events
following vaccines are reported.
- An 8 lb. infant receives
the same amount a vaccine that a 40 pound 5 year old
receives.
- Jonas Salk, IPV, injected
polio vaccine, inventor, testified before a Senate
sub-committee that nearly all polio outbreaks since 1961
were caused by the oral polio vaccine.
