A young girl who is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant has set up her own website(go to link at bottom of cookiejar page 1) to appeal for a donor (the issue was raised on look north news 27/2/01(UK) Alice Maddocks aged eight, has a very rare condition which reduces levels of red and white blood cells. Alice from Dewsbury in West Yorkshire England suffers pain and headaches and needs weekly hospital treatment. Her father, Dean says "the website aims to increase the chances of FINDING A DONOR". Doctors say surgery within the next two weeks is vital to her survival. Please Please help. He sent her an email wishing her well and he hopes she finds a donor soon. She also has had people wishing her well from as far as Australia and Brazil. 20/3/01 ALICE'S DAD HAS CONTACTED ME, her family have thanked me for helping in the quest to find her a donor. So far no one has come forward, she has got very bad bruising and is still getting nose bleeds. According to her dad she is keeping in high spirits as always!
