Bledsoe Co.

Cole states "He served as a mounted gunman on an expedition in 1814
against hostile Creek Indians, for which his monthly pay was eight
dollars plus 40 cents per day for his horse."

Land Grant in 1827 of 136 acres in McNairy Co., TN close to where
Shiloh would be fought in the Civil War in 1862.
