12. Booker Mullins b. ca 1768 Virginia - d. during the Civil War in Wise County, Virginia, md Sarah (maiden name unknown) b. ca 1770 - d. prior to 1840 in late 1787 or early 1788. Booker Mullins was in Montgomery County, Virginia in 1788; Burke County, North Carolina by 1796; Russell County, Virginia by 1807; and Floyd County, Kentucky by 1809. He lived in the section of Floyd County that was broke off to form Pike County in 1822. Booker sold Thomas Johnson 30 acres on Shelby Creek in Pike County, Kentucky on 25 Jan. 1823. The deed states Booker Mullins was of "Lawrence County, Kentucky". He appears in Lawrence County, Kentucky tax records in 1823 and then Russell County, Virginia tax records in 1827, however he still appears in Pike County, Kentucky tax records through the period. He is listed in the 1830 Russell County, Virginia Census. Booker Mullins was living in the household of his son James Mullins in the 1840 Breathitt County, Kentucky and 1850 Perry County, Kentucky censuses. He was living with his grandson Sherwood Mullins, son of Sherwood & Mary "Polly" (Roberts) Mullins, in the 1860 Wise County, Virginia Census. Booker Mullins is said to be buried in the Thompson Boggs Cemetery (also referred to as the Sherd Mullins Cemetery) at Bold Camp, Wise County, Virginia. Booker and Sarah are believed to have had the following children:
