"Lame Hand" Mullins b. ca 1790 Virginia - d. ca 1845 Virginia md 1) Mary (maiden name unknown), 2) Elizabeth Roberts b. ca 1798 Virginia - d. 1845-1850 Virginia, daughter of James & Nancy (Damron?) Roberts, on 7 Sept. 1818 Floyd County, Kentucky. William was also known as "Cuddy Bill" Mullins. "It is said while clearing a new ground on a windy day, William was injured by a falling limb from a tree." [Abstract from the files of Carl T. Mullins] William Mullins lived on Mullen Ridge in Tazewell County, Virginia, near Panther Creek. His estate settlement is dated 20 Aug. 1845 and names the following children: Thomas, James, William, John, Sally Smith, Polly Collins, Elizabeth "Betsy", Elijah, and four underage infants. William and Mary are believed to have had the following children:
