  Mrs Polkinghorn and family of Illogan, Redruth has gone to join her husband in Butte Montana. Mr Samuel White of Chester, Massachusetts, formerly of Redruth, is on a weeks visit to New York. Mr and Mrs R. Dunn after spending six years in Brooklyn, have gone on a visit to their home in Hayle.

Henry Laity, Mr Frank Laity and Cecil Pascoe came in from Philadelphia to meet Mrs Frank Laity who was returning from a six month trip to Redruth. The Rev. H White from Scranton also came to New York to meet his intended Sister in Law, who was coming to Redruth. He saw her safely on her train to Minnesota. 

After spending nine months in St Agnes which is their native place, Mr and Mrs T Donahue have returned to New York en route for Bisbee, Arizona. While on the steamer coming over Mrs Donahue was taken ill and on arrival at New York had to be taken in a conveyance to the Star hotel and medical assistance sent for. We are pleased to say she is improving but will be staying at the Hotel until she is able to travel.
