Owing to the war the travel
from Cornwall has been very light, as what steamers are leaving are overbooked
with Americans coming back so that others who want to come to America cannot get
accommodation
The travel homeward has been rather heavy on account of the low price of copper at present, it being only eleven cents. Naturally there are considerable mines closing down as it does not pay to operate them at this price. Butte is suffering, also parts of Arizona on this account. I trust that peace will prevail very shortly as not only the zones in trouble are affected, but the entire world feels the condition.
