ABOVE: X = advantage

Here is my break down...

The Seahawks have a great QB in Matt Hasselbeck, and good back up in Dilfer.

Tomlinson is the best running back in the league, and could make his debut this game according to www.chargers.com

For Wide receivers they have the advantage with all there depth and experience.

Tight ends I gave to the Chargers, I like Mili but the Seahawks don't have a lot of depth.

Offensive Tackles and Guards both went to both teams.  They are both pretty even the Seahawks offensive line has started more game but ours is playing great right now.

Center I gave to Chargers because of the depth we have.

I gave the DT advantage to the Chargers, with Williams and Olshansky we have the power to work the 3-4.

The Seahawks have an advantage in the DE slot with Grant Winstrom.

I give the linebackers to the Chargers. We still have Edwards back from injury it looks like. Steve Cooper is taking no prisoners at the MLB spot. We have the talent and depth.

Cornerbacks I gave the advantage to the Chargers and Seahawks. We have pretty even depth and talent.

Safeties I gave the advantage to the Seahawks, we don't have enough talent at safety, maybe next year.

Kicker is our Advantage, Nate Kaeding put on a show in Arizona and I think he will do it again.

Punter advantage is the Seahawks, Tom Rouen is way better then Scifres.

This could be a good game if we keep the penalties at a low.

Seahawks -- 35

Chargers -- 28

-A lot of questions marks in the safety postion not enough interceptions. I think this will be a close game though.

summary

Score:

Seahawks -- 26

Chargers -- 20

Offensive MVP -- Doug Flutie ( 8/12, 99 yards, 1 TD)

Defensive MVP -- Steve Foley ( 6 tackles, 1 asst. tackle, 1 sack)

Big Bust -- Drew Brees, he was on fire untill this game.

Big Surprise -- Phillip Rivers, even with 2 INT's he showed some talent.

Player that should be signed -- Wes Welker (#16) WR/KR/PR

Player that should be cut -- Mike Hoambrecker (#4) K

Wrap up -- The 3-4 defense looked bad this game, they gave up way to many yards and points. They ended the game with 5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, and 1 INT. Our running game never really got of the ground. The big story of this game is Philip Rivers, he played good for his first game. Drew Brees didn't look good and the offensive line gave up more sacks (3). There were a lot of big passes and catches, that is always good. Kassim Osgood looked awesome, he has the talent to be a #1 WR. Special Teams did the great this game I would have to say. We Welker returned a punt for a TD, on the kickoff returns there was an average of about 22 yards per return. We only missed one field goal and it was blocked. Overall this game was close but I didn't like all the interceptions and mistakes. The Seahawks are a good team, not having Ladainian Tomlinson in hurt Rivers and Brees so lets hope they do better in the season.

-- **Side note** Shaun Phillips and Dave Ball have 7 sacks combined and 4 forced fumbles combined.
