'04 Season Week 1:   (1-1) VS:   (2-0)                                      Prediction / Summary

Vick vs. L.T

Mike VickIn what many thought was a bad move by the Chargers, we traded down and picked up L.T and left the Falcons with Vick. I would easily do this move 100 times in a row. Tomlinson is a good hard worker. No fancy dancing or dumb things like that, he has class. He has not been injured, and is a safer and better pick in the long run. Vick has yet to prove himself. He got his team the playoffs one year then got hurt the next. He is unreliable. A passing game is nothing without a running game. The defense needs to worry about theLadainian Tomlinson play-action and runs, if not well you have Super bowl 37 were the Raiders had no running game so Gannon had to throw a lot. Vick needs to settle down and not scramble for day light when his first wide receiver is not open. He needs to take 3 or 4 reads of the defense. He holds the ball to long and throws it away when people are open. I know he is young and QB is much tougher then running back. Here's my prediction, Falcons will do better if Vick settles down and uses those legs when wholes open not to run around his offensive line and juke linebackers, the addition of Dez White is not much help if he won't even wait that long to look at him. The Chargers, will do fine this year no losing record is my bold prediction if we stay or trade down.

Some cool stats

--Ladainian Tomlinson in 2003 rushed for more yards then all 3 of the "Three headed Dragons" on the Eagles. (Staley, Westbrook, Buckhalter)

Ladainian Tomlinson -- 1645 yards rushing

Staley, Westbrook, Buckhalter -- 1618 yards rushing

--In 2003, on Vicks first night back versus the Panthers, the first offensive pass play Vick turned into a scramble and ended up throwing the ball away.
