The Sparrowhawk

Yes, if you look in the biplane Hawks section, you'll see the Sparrowhawk listed there. I felt, however, that it deserved its own section because of one unique use - the aircraft "armed" the only flying "aircraft carriers" the Navy had. Yes, I mean the Akron and the Macon. These aircraft were different from the other Sparrowhawks in having trapeze retrieval gear, and removable landing gear - if you're getting hung like a Sunday suit somewhere, why do you need it?
