It’s unbelievable! A week has barely passed since the tragic death of President Lincoln and that swine he had as a vice-president has already re-structured and destroyed all of President Lincoln’s work. All the civil liberties that had been granted to the blacks have been severely restricted, if not outright taken away by what the southern pigs call "black codes". These black codes are state laws that are designed to destroy the rights that the blacks received after the War. Some of these "codes" include vagrancy laws, under which blacks who were viewed as unemployed could be hired out as forced labor; apprenticing laws, under which children without proper care, as defined by the courts, could be bound out to white employers; and severe limitations on black occupations and property holding. It is outrageous that even after all the carnage they caused they continue to sow the seeds of discontent by trying to change what has already happened. The war is over, we won and now they have to submit to our rules! Isn’t it enough that because of their greed and unwillingness to change thousands of people had to die? Must they continue to fight a long lost battle? Why are they so stubborn?
