I was reading through some of your comments and questions. My daughter has a cystic hygroma and will be 10 next february. Hers was from her eyes down her face and then dropped like a beard to the center of her chest. We had the whole kit and kaboodle in the beginning... we were told she might not be born alive, before the amnio she had downs and turners syndrome, and much more. she was born in 1991 had her first surgery (14 hours) at 2 weeks old (also received her trach then)her next surgery was 2 laser surgerys at 4 month and 10 months for her airway. Trach was removed at 1 yr and her next removal of cyst was at age 2. She still has a portion of cyst (but looks like her face is kind of fat) I have been searching for a doctor to do plastic surgery. My next appt is in 1 week. Its a long road, but I know will be well worth it. If anybody has any success stories or even questions feel free to contact me. Its kind of nice to know people who are going throught the same as you and can understand why things do and don't happen.
