4 days ago I had an ultrasound, and they said that the baby was due 35 days past it's due date. This immediately sent off warning signs in me, and then 2 days later my Dr freaked out at an appointment and sent me to the ER. They did an US and found out that even though I am 23 1/2 weeks pregnant, they baby stopped growing at 18-18 1/2 weeks. All the fluid that would surround the baby is inside of the cyst, which is on the back of the babies neck. The heartbeat was also decelerating very quickly, and my husband and i now have the option of terminating the pregnancy, or waiting for the heart to stop beating. I think that this happened sometime yesterday cause i no longer feel the baby moving. It's been about 30 hours since I felt anything. I have found some information on the web, but not enough. If they baby is still alive, the Air Force is sending my husband and me to Nebraska to speak with a perinatologist on Tuesday. If not, then they will probably induce labor tomorrow.
