There are so many who have fought for our freedom, only to have theirs taken away. There are still 2000+ pows/mias that are unaccounted for.  We need to ask ourselves what we can do to help. Not just as a nation but you   as a person.. The first step that you can do is to adopt a pow/mia of your own. Then make a remembrance page and do everything in your power to make it known to your congressmen and senators and yes even the President, that you will not make this easy for them. Write them letters, daily if you need to, until we get the answers that we want to hear. Keep writing until they finally tell you they will DO something to find our lost heroes.

Don't let this be true. Please remember what they and their families have given so that we may live so freely.  The families of these soldiers need to know what happened to their loved ones, they need closure to what happened. How would you feel if your son or daughter came up to you today and decided they wanted to serve their country, so off they go to learn and are stationed at their first base and all is well. Until a war breaks out and you get a call from your child telling you that they are being sent out to go fight this war. And they go, because that is what they are taught to do, they want to help their country and it's people. Well, months go by , and you find out that your child has been shot out of the sky by the enemy and they have no idea where he is. How are you feeling about now? You want to know all you can about what happened, right? What is being done to find your child? How intensely is the country they fought so hard for looking for them? I bet you want to use every resource available to find your child.  Now lets say 3,4,5 years go by and still nothing. How are you feeling now? Worried, confused, angry. Does it seem like no one cares anymore about your child anymore? You feel like you need to know one way or another, dead or alive, just bring my baby home to me.

All I ask is that you take a little bit of your time to help these families find closure. Adopt a pow/mia and do all that you can to help him find peace.

Please get started today. Go and write your congressmen and senators and tell them that WE WILL NOT FORGET OUR AMERICAN HEROES LEFT IN VIETNAM!! If you wait for the next person to do something, then it won't get done, because they are probably waiting for the next person to do something , who is waiting for the next and so on and so on....... It has to begin with you!!  You must have an interest or else you wouldn't have read this much of my page already. Take a few minutes today to write those letters and make yourself heard. Make a difference for these families. Every little bit will help, because then our government will know that we are not going to let them get off so easily, we want answers. Better yet, we want our heroes back in the United States, where they belong.  These soldiers have given and done so much for us and all they ask is to be brought back home to their families. But they need our help. Please get involved!! Do your part to help them.
