• Simulated the effects of a merger between BP and ARCO on market concentration, prices, production, and revenues from state and federal oil leasing auctions. Presented results to the legal representatives of the State of Alaska and to the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition staff.
• Retained by MCI-Worldcom to prepare an event study of the financial markets' reaction to changes in the probability of merger with Sprint. FCC filing March 20, 2000 (Proceeding No. 99-333).

Other work:

• Participated in preparation of expert testimony and research in damages, antitrust enforcement and industry regulation.
• Participated in the preparation of expert deposition and testimony for the Federal Trade Commission v. Staples, Inc., antitrust merger case in 1997.

7/1993-6/1996: Consultant to the Operations Evaluation Department (OED) of The World Bank, to help evaluate the World Bank approach to trade, finance and industry policies of the member countries.
