Go Canada Go! Welcome to Stringer Hall Reunion's Official Web Site!Where are you now? What are you doing? As a former Hallite or staff member, you are encouraged to share your memories and sign the New Guestbook at the bottom of this page. The purpose of this web site is to kick start a Stringer Hall Reunion in Inuvik, Northwest Territories for 2002! I would like to locate as many Hallites as possible. The site can be used by all as a focal point to finding old friends. I have been in touch with many former Hallites over the years about having a reunion. The responses received have always been positive. An invitation is also extended to the former staff who took part in shaping our lives. The alumni of the former All Saints Residential School in Aklavik, Northwest Territories are also invited. Many of us attended All Saints before attending Stringer Hall in Inuvik. Stringer Hall had its boys' and girls' side, both senior and junior, and the staffs' quarters. Stringer Hall has been demolished but the memories and good times live on stronger than ever.
I have added a "reflections" page to the website. Once I get organized this page will act as a "gallery" of photos of days gone by. Right now I have added some "rough" sketches for you to view.
View My Guestbook I experienced difficulties with the old Guestbook below. I am keeping it so that site visitors can review the old entries.
This web site is updated often. Bookmark this web site, visit often and tell other Hallites about it.
Serious family illness will prevent me to dedicate any amount of time in the organizing of the reunion. So it may be postponed until July 2003. I requesting Hallites and others from Inuvik to assist in the organization of this important event. I am in the midst of developing a handbook for organizers which can be of assistance. I will continue on with the website so that it can focal point of Hallites remaining in touch with each other and to track any new developments.
