"We got more problems!"
Max called out, Stanton and his crew, now looked to the
three. "Tell me, it ain't waking up!?" Stanton replied. "I wish I
could, John... But, he's already done that... Now, he's checking out!" Max
explained. "Son of a Bitch!" fired Murphy. "Which way's, he goin'?"
Stanton inquired. "Back into the bay... Toward open water..." Max relayed.
Stanton looked back to the vid screen, in frustration.
The Pearl Harbor
monster, gave out another loud roar... Breaking the silent moment. It's
giant head, swiveled... As if it was, looking for something in
particular. After a moment of this, it turned back on it's tracks.
Heading back, in the direction it had came. "...Can someone explain
this, please?!" Stanton bellowed, pointing at the screen.
" They're aware
of each other..." Sue said. "Instinct... Most reptiles, Dinosaurs in
particular, are very territorial." Tammy added. "So,.. What's going to happen,
when they get together?" Stanton inquired. " That's the big question... If
they're opposing sex, they might try and mate... If they don't
kill each other..." Tammy explained. "...And, if they're not?" Max asked. "Then
they'll definitely try and kill each other!" Tammy finished. "... If
they cancel each other out, that's all well and good!" Stanton
smiled, with the thought. "...Yeah,... Unless, they try it in
the middle of Honolulu!" Max added. "Right!" Stanton agreed, seeing
his point. He then started off, to his office, handing out orders
as he went. "Murphy, I want you and your guys, ready for
disaster control! Get the survivors in Decom,.. Start baggin' the rest."
He finished flatly. "Right away..." Murphy replied. "I want the entire area
chem washed, as soon as we can get the planes ready. And
make danmed sure, the media's locked out!" Stanton added, as Max
caught up with him. "Max, I want you and the bio-team, workin'
on your problem... " Max nodded, but Stanton could see his frustration.
"...I know, there ain't much to work with." Stanton added. Before
leaving the room, Stanton looked over his frayed group. "I'm callin'
in a new toy!" He said, addressing all. Max looked about,
confused. The decided to ask Murphy. "...What new toy?" "Project Skyfire...
You'll see." He said quickly, getting ready to go, himself. "...Ok...
" Max said,

In his office,
now... Stanton had his ear to the red phone. "...Look, Our problem
just got larger, by a factor of two! If we don't do
something soon, You can take Hawaii off the maps!" He exclaimed.
"... I don't give a Rat's Ass about Top Secret, red tape
bullshit! I want Skyfire Here,.. Now!" He yelled, slamming down
the reciever. Murphy knocked at the door,.. " Yeah, what is it?!"
Stanton shot, opening it from a remote lock control on his
desk. " They say, we lost 1,500 people... Probably more..." He said,
entering the room. "...I see... How's Decom. going?" Replied Stanton,
as he mulled over the number. "Just started... What's the word
on Skyfire?" Murphy asked. "It's on it's way... They're pissed,
but they're sending it." "At this point, I don't think they have
a choice..." Murphy reasoned. "That's exactly, how I explained it!"
Stanton said with a shallow smile.

2:00am, Somwere
in the Navada desert.
A group of
campers sat around a fire... Drinking beer, and telling stories. "...Billy
went over that way...Never came back! That's what I heard, anyway."
Said one. "Yeah, they say, people disappear, out here all the
time!" Added another, looking up at the night sky. Suddenly the
wind picked up... And a rumble grew louder. "...What the hell,
is that?!" One asked, as the group stood up in the direction
of the sound. A gigantic, shape came up, over the hill
side... It's lights, illuminating the ground. The three were knocked
over by the force of it's passing... Watching, as it quickly
dissappeared over the opposite horizon. Finally, one of them spoke.
"I told you, that Area 51 shits', real!"

Pearl Harbor,
was a mess... And clean up would take several months. (And this,
would be working 24 / 7.) The numbers quicky went up... Now it
was 2,200 dead. Another 1,000 had severe radiation exposure. The
media kept watch, from a distance. Now, the airport was over flowing,
with people leaving the islands... Mostly orderly, but Panic was on
the rise. Island officials were at their wit's end, and the police
force was over stretched... There were countless fender-benders in the
rush to escape, and looting had started in Honolulu. The situation
had begun to spiral out of control.
FendTech Hawaii,
was getting more personel from it's other facilities. This would allow
it, to be of more help to the local goverment. Max,
Tammy and Sue were in a lab, once again. Trying hard
to figure out a solution to both mutation, and Seizowa's
weapon.
"When
is nothing, something?" This was Sue's quote from earlier, before
Godzilla hit the harbor. Max was working it over in his head...
Where they expected to find the answer, there was nothing... Yet super
dense Elements, such as Nobelium and Lawrencium, were actually sustained
in the Godzilla samples. ( Niether of which, occured naturally to
begin with! ) This was the 'Nothing', they were missing. ( Heavy
or dense elements, are naturally unstable. They shed off particals,
turning into other, more stable materials. This is Atomic Decay... Lawencium
is so unstable, it shouldn't even show up... Let alone, sustain itself.)
What this meant, was something within Nothing, was keeping it
all going... Something, from nothing... Physics,.. To Quantum! As soon
as he switched gears, the answer hit like a truck!
"I think, I
just found, my house key!" Max exclaimed, startling the women
from their work. "...What, Max?" Sue asked, confused. "...The answer... the
bottom line, to this whole thing... I'm not sure, I believe it,
but it...fits." He rambled, still putting things together in his
head. The women dropped what they had been doing, and joined
him. "So, what have we got?"
"Well,.. I started
thinking about what you said, yesterday" But still, no answer... Then,
I changed the question!" Max explained, with a smile. "... Physics brought
us to a point, then locked the door... But in Quantum, the
door never closed...in the first place." Max added. Sue seemed
to be with him. " I'm afraid, they didn't teach this in Dinosaur
class." Tammy confessed.
Max thought
for a moment, then took a sheet of paper. "Right,... We've been
knocking ourselves out, using traditional physics. Our problem, is like
this hole." He went on, drawing a circle on the paper, as Tammy
watched. "...Everything around it, isn't supposed to happen, in the
natural world." He drew another, larger circle around the first... Writing
in Nobelium, Lawencium, ect. "Are you with me, so far?" "Yeah, Ok." Tammy
answered, looking at the paper. "There is another Element, right
here." He pointed, dead center of the inner circle. "It's keeping
these, sustained...These ARE the proof!..." ( ringing the written
elements, with the pen.) "...We can't see it, or measure it...
But it's there! On some other level of space-time." He concluded...
Sue and Tammy smiled, they understood.

"... Ok... Suppose, you're
right about this... How exactly, did it happen?" Stanton asked, from
behind his desk. Max, Tammy and Sue, could see, he was having
a problem accepting this answer. "Operation Overkill'... You said, yourself...
It had a series of bizzaar results." Max added. Stanton sat a
moment, considering this fact. "I guess, I can't argue with that...
Go on." He said, warming to the idea. "...I thinking, the Golieth
bomb was so powerful, it blew some holes in space-time... Only
for a few milliseconds..." Max started. "...But long enough, to imprint
these animals, with material from somewhere else!" Sue quickly added.
"This would explain, their mutation, the enormous size... All of
the things, we can't understand about Godzilla!" Tammy finished. (Of
course, How the three presented this idea, had been thought out
before entering Stanton's office.) Stanton mulled this over...Then smiled.
"Congratulations Max,.. You just proved your theory!" He said. "In a round
about way,...Yes I did!" Max replied. Happy that he could finally
say this.
