Founded in 1957 by brothers Paul & Matt Ungers, and is now second generation family owned and operated. Paul and Matt took basic farm land and developed what was called in the early years "Sands Trailer Park & Sales". Sands has seen many changes over the years, its most recent is the modernizing of the community by placing the new manufactured homes in a residential setting parallel to the street. Sands is dedicated to furnishing quality manufactured homes in a secure and quiet community for persons 55 years of age and older. Stately trees adorn Sands Community, all planted in the early years by Paul and Matt, now provide a beautiful park-like setting for virtually all of the home sites. Paul and Matt's work ethic and dedication has been passed on to the second generation, whose work ethic and dedication has remained the same through the years.
