Currently, 22 000 different denominations, cults, sects, and assemblies exist in contemporary Christianity. The vast majority of these groups claim to be worshipping in the exact replica of the early Christian Church.
Thus, much confusion can result, and a great dilemma can occur when attempting to discover which one is indeed the most Scriptural.
In fact, non-Christians point out that the seperations and divisions within Christianity give great reason to many people not to bother attending any formalized worship service at all.
Thus, it should be the responsibility of the believer to promote non-institutionalized worship of Jesus Christ, free from the organizational ties we so often find ourselves connected to.
In this section, we will attempt to assist this lofty quest for autonomous worship by outlining doctrinal errors of some of the major Christian collectives.
It is our hope that the spiritual unity between believers, prayed for by Jesus Himself the night He was betrayed, will be sufficient to overcome these ties that bind.
