Living near Cedar Point, I have always
been a fan of Amusement Parks. While
I haven't been in there in awhile, I now
have something just as fun on my Hard
Drive. The idea is pretty straight
forward: build and or maintain an
amusement park. The Demo has 3 scenerios to play. The only bad thing

is there is a 20 min Time Limit. You may want to visit HERE and read
the message board for info on a trainer that will allow more time. The
only reason I mention this is because it gives you a better feal for game.
The loads and saves will still be disabled and no more scenerios will be available, so I dont consider it a crack. Odds are you gonna purchase
the game anyway after playing demo.

The first scenerio is "Forest Frontiers", a
flat, cleared area of land to build on. The
second scenerio is "Diamond Heights", a
park that is already built, which you try to
double its value. The third is "Evergreen
Gardens", a more complex land layout. Make
your choice and start building your dream
park. The tools that are at you disposal are immense. Lay down footpaths, plant trees and flowers, place scenery, build foodstands and bathrooms,
raise or lower land, hire mechanics, janitors, and entertainers. Great huh,
but what about the rides? Well here comes the fun part! You can build
transportation ride (trains-monorails-etc), gentle rides (ferris wheel-mazes
-merry go rounds-etc), thrill rides (twister-swinging ship), water rides
(log flumes-boat rides), and of course the Roller Coasters.

You start off with 2 types, Wooden and mini
steel. Given enough time more will be
available through your research and dev.
team. Choose one of the prebuilt coasters or
design your own. The design interface is a
bit tricky, but not to hard to get used to.
Once designed test your ride and get full
details on its performance. Name if you wish,

choose your color scheme and choose a price. Now open your park see
the fun begin. The details in the demo are exceptional. The sounds are
ambient, once you get close to a ride you here the screams of guests. Some rides have music playing. The classic "clink-clink" of the a coaster
going up the first hill is dead-on. It may start raining and the thundering.
Watch your guests eat at the food stands and puke it up later if the ride was
too Intense for them. Laughs can be heard of the happy little guests. The
game can be played at 3 resolutions(6x4,8x6,and10x7) or in a window.
I failed to mention alot of the options in the game but you dont need me
to write the manual. Bottom Line is this is a great, addictive demo.
