PROGRAM MANAGER I
CONAKRY, GUINEA
Primary Function: To serve as the
deputy head of office of CRS/Guinea and to manage all programming functions.
Responsibilities:
Programming:
* In collaboration with partners, determine
areas of programmatic, sectoral and geographic focus for CRS/Guinea; develop
program and project proposals in these areas
* Seek funding and other resources
for these activities, from local and international donors
* Help develop counterpart capacity
to design, implement, monitor and evaluate these activities
* Submit narrative and financial reports
on all CRS-supported activities
* Seek opportunities in particular
for justice-oriented programming
Administration:
* Assist the Head of Office with issues
of finance, procurement and reporting
* Liaise with field staff to ascertain
and satisfy their administrative needs
Representation:
* As designated by the Head of Office, represent CRS with partners, donors, media and visitors
Qualifications:
* MA or MS degree
* Minimum 2 years related overseas
experience
* Excellent project design skills
* Strong donor relations skills
* Proven ability to work with national
partners and staff
* French proficiency
* Solid organizational skills
* Previous emergency experience
* In-depth sector knowledge (agriculture,
health) useful
