Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute is unique educational enterprise that promoters understanding between India and Canada. The institute funds research, links institutions in the two countries and organizes seminars and conferences. The Institute requires for its New Delhi Office a suitable person for the position for "Programme Officer".

Reporting to the Administrative Director, the Programme Officer will be responsible for administering development focused projects. Tasks include : liaison with Universities, NGOs, International Development Organisations; analysing and consolidating project reports; organising workshops, conferences; and working effectively as a part of a team.

The candidate should be :
  • A Post Graduate in Social Sciences / Humanities / and / or Media Studies.
  • Deft in Computer skills - word processing - and data base management softwares.
  • Familiarity with Indian Universities and NGOs.
  • Ability to function effectively in an international and intellectual environment.
  • Commitment to the highest professional standards.
