| SENSHI NAME: Sailor Quasar (Pronounced Kway-zar.) |
|
| PERSONALITY: Katherine is mostly a friendly person, but over the years has become rather droll and sarcastic, with a bit of a temper and attitude. Her family doesn't know what's come over her, but strangely enough she seems to confide more and more with her pet dog, Aporo. |

| BIO: A long time ago, Sailor Quasar was twin senshi with Sailor Pulsar. Having been created by Sailor Solaris, the two shared a psychic bond and were very powerful together. One day, however, Pulsar died in battle, severing the link between her and Quasar and leaving her twin devastated. Sailor Moon was able to revive Pulsar, but she was forever changed, both in appearance and personality. Uppon hearing this, Quasar decided to leave instead of rushing to Pulsar's side, not quite sure she was ready to see such a change in her twin. She was never seen from nor heard form again. |

| Meanwhile, Quasar began to notice a strange thing happening to her. Whenever the sun went down, her vision began to dim, until she went totally blind whenever the sun set. Her vision would not return until the sun came back up, and once it did her vision was fully restored. Confused by this, she assumed it was the effects of an attack from the battle that killed Pulsar, but in actuality it was due to the fact that the bond between the two had been broken. From then on she had her friend Aporo, a guardian dog, at her side so that he could be her guide dog when the sun set. Other things about her began to change as well: mainly her personality, but her voice changed a little too. |

| Now Quasar has returned as Katherine Laird to finally seek out Pulsar and reunite herself with her. Unfortunately her search has been mostly in vain, and she is slowed even more by the fact that she must act blind the entire time to prevent confusion. Living with her grandmother in the suburbs and attending a private school for the blind, Katherine keeps a low profile, although lately someone has noticed that something's not quite right about her... |

| PERSONALITY: Cocky, Aporo seems to think he's the top dog in town and tends to get into many fights, most of which he started himself. His only affection goes towards Katherine, who he has a soft spot for. |

| BIO: Aporo is the equalivilent of a guardian cat (ie Luna, Artimis), and has been Katherine's close friend since she got her powers. Although a wolf-like dog, he can do whatever the cats can, and even sports a crescent moon on his forehead. Aporo acts as Katherine's guide dog, both in the day when she's acting blind and at night when she truely needs him to do it. He truely cares for her and looks out for her closely, and will even go as far as giving up his life to save his friend. |
