When I am called to duty,

Wherever battles rage,

Give me the strength to save his life--

He's small and young in age.

Let me take the pounding;

They'll suffer at my Hand

For when the others can not fight,

I have to take a stand

I must be brave, I must have hope

The fight must not leave me

I must be there, all night and day

It is my Destiny.

Crest of Hope, Crest of Light,

All the evil we shall blight

As long as Kari's in my sight

Gatomon's Child

Tonight I met a great new friend

Who knew me right away

It was funny how she understood

All I had to say

She listened to my problems

She listened to my dreams

We talked about love and life

She'd been there too, it seems

I never once felt judged by her

She knew just how I felt

She seemed to just accept me

And all the problems I've been dealt

She didn't interrupt me

Or need to have her say

She just listened very patiently

And didn't go away

I wanted her to understand

How much she meant to me

To realize she belonged with Us

It was her destiny

When all the world is looming dark

And things seem not so clear

When evil seems to hover 'round

The Lost Angel

I fly my fastest,

but still I get beat

I land on my head

But won't take defeat

I try to fight Piedmon

But get thrown in rewind

Why do I keep at it?

I'm the one left behind

The harder I'm thrown

The higher I bounce

I give it my all

and that's all the counts

To save my dear T.K.

Is what's on my mind

So I push to the limit--

For I can't stay behind

He tells me I can't

He simply says don't

To give up and give in

I reply, I won't

My true power is here,

Locked away in my mind

I must keep up Hope

Or I'll be left behind

But when it seems that I am dead

I suddenly start to shine

And suddenly I'm a brand new me

And out to kick behind!

In the Dark

It's scary when I'm in the dark and I feel all alone.

Then, a voice whispers in my ear in a soft and gentle tone.

"T.K, don't be afraid, I'm always at your side.

My light will chase the dark away so you don't have to hide."

"But what about the monsters?" I asked the voice instead.

"My arrows," said the voice "Will give them up for dead."

I pressed my head to his chest and my fears became long gone.

Then, I said in a hushed whisper. "Thank you, Angemon!"

(And he said "You're welcome.")

Gatomon's Karma

My feet brought me to darkness,my eyes brought me pain,and as my heart turned to stone I swore I'd never love again.

A loyal servant I would be,to the Master of the Dark,with a slap of my tail and a slash of my claws I have finally made my mark. With a wizard as my only friend and a bat-thing at my back,I knew when I saw those humans it was my turn to attack.

Crossing from the Digiworld to a place that's called Japan,I swore I'd find that eighth Digi-Destined be it woman,child or man. That is when I saw her and something inside me stirred,I sat and watched her as she turned and made herself heard.

Amazing how a simple "Hi!" can confuse one monster so,I found myself obsessed with her and sad to see her go.

Then, Wizardmon showed me the light,light from her to me,all of a sudden I knew my past,I knew that I was free.

My fate was to protect her,my Kari,my new friend,I felt all evil inside come to an abrupt end. When I saw she was in danger I began to change,first my size then my shape,it really was quite strange. With a blast from my Heaven's Charm,then my Celestial Arrow,the Evil Master of the Bats was hit,though the shot was narrow.

I thought he was finished,I was an angel now,I had cahnged to my ultimate form faster than you could say "Meow!"

But, the evil was not through,it had only just begun,yet with the help of my new found friends he was showed who's #1!

Myotismon was done for,gone forever from our lives,the prophecy had been fullfilled as it said in the old archives.

But now a new threat awaits,many a friend lost too,now we were returning to the world I had always knew. Side by side,my new friends and I,all changed for the better,arriving to face the new darkness as evil still screamed "Get her!"

But,I have changed,I'm now good,cute, and also witty. Not bad for someone who thought she was just a stray little kitty!

A shining light

A ray of hope

How can that all be me?

A tortured cat

Once evil's toy

That can't be history

My troops were bats

My master dark

I lived in misery

And yet came hope

My shining light

My savior, dear Kari
