One Crystalline Night

Oceans tonight have crystallized into this--a history of me. Tides' undertow sucks photographs into a whirlpool of who I was A tale that began years ago on another clouded night. Definitions of what I will be, including you as subsection two, reflect off of rolling placidity. A small girl rages on a drifting raft. She rampages to claim what was denied her. The past of me is self-contained, all bandaged up in paragraphs of dynamite, and the fire of one powdered night was enough to light the fuse that sparked my voice. It floated down a tributary leading to nowhere. Fragmented into a million words that all led to us then all flowed back to the sea that you waded into one crystalline night.
