One day while searching on the net, I found the Blue Sky Rangers web site, and began to remember the wonderful years and memories spent with my Intellivision. I unfortunately threw out my old system years ago. Now that I have a degree in Electronics, I realized how easy it would have been to fix my old Sears Super Video Arcade. I did remember however that I kept some games in a box back at my mom's house. So I jumped on Ebay and within a few seconds I was looking at a huge number of systems and games for sale. Taking into account the problems common with the INTV, controllers and power supply, and remembering that my cousin's Intellivision II had both detachable, I soon found an Intellivision II with 20 games for sale, and won the bid. The package arrived at work and I was retarded with old school gaming memories. Only a handful of my co-workers knew what the system was and even fewer even remembered playing it. When I got it home I quickly hooked it up and found all but two games working. One was Golf, and the other was Donkey Kong, which after some research I found that it was a design flaw that kept certain Coleco games from working on the Intellivision II. There is a fix posted on several web sites that allow you to modify your INTV II so it will bypass date code information, and allow Coleco games to work. With this purchase I also got a few manuals catalogs and an Intellivoice module. Upon returning to my Mom's house one weekend, I found only half of my games, all the boxes were gone, along with the overlays and manuals. So now I have to backtrack and find those lost games online, or at a flea-market.
