Hi! I am Gregg's wife of 25+ years and the mother of Penelope and Zachary. I am Library Automation Specialist at Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA. Microsoft Support -- For all your Microsoft
programs.
NetMechanic -- Everything to make sure your web site stays in top notch, user friendly shape.
Smart Planet -- The ZDUniversity classes have moved here. There are excellent tutorials on all kinds of programs and
computer issues. I took the three part HTML 4.0, an instructor lead course, and it was a great help. I've also taken a Java Script course and found some resources for the Girl Scouts. Designing Business Solutions and How to Create Animaged GIF Images for the Web are some of my recent endeavors here. There are lots of fun classes too!!
Tech TV -- you know you're a geek if you watch the shows,
but if you go to the site, you are definitely into computers. Yes, this was ZDTV. Leo may never remember who he works for.
ZD Net -- everything you need to know about computers.

Saint Francis University
Founded in 1847, this is the oldest Franciscan University in the U.S...and as of January 1st, 2001 the name was changed from College to University!!!Keep in mind that, although we all love the Internet, your best first stop in doing research might be your own bookshelf or your local library. If you have a good idea what you need, for instance, for a child's elementary or even middle school science project, it's best to look at the resources you are already familiar with rather than spending a lot of time searching the Internet. Depending upon the detail required, you might be able to gather everything you need in less time than it takes to find a few useful sites on the 'Net. Here are some sites which I've found useful. I'll add to this as I discover more.

Association Great Sites This site has lots of links for homework help. The
links have been reviewed by librarians which helps take the guess work out of your web
searching
American Memory -- The American Memory Historical Collections, a major component of the Library's National Digital Library Program, are multimedia collections of digitized documents, photographs, recorded sound, moving pictures, and text from the Library's Americana collections. There are currently over 70 collections in the American Memory Historical Collections. The site includes teacher and student links.
Homework Center
-- Located at Infoplease.com, the site was specially designed for K-12 homework problems.
Homework Central -- Links for Teachers to find lesson plans, Library Media Specialists to find technology and library tips, Students for homework help and e-adventures, Parent links and more. The site provides access to over 100 virtual tours. From the main page, enter virtual tour in the search box.
Information Please Almanac -- The online
version of the popular almanac.
KidsClick! -- Online help for
the younger student. Sites are chosen by librarians.
Schoolwork Ugh -- Links by subjects,
especially for grades 7+. Includes a link to Highlights TeacherNet WebRing.
