With Hollywood's constant urge to remake every single good comedy in existence, they came out with a remake of the 1967 cult classic "Bedazzled" which stared Dudley Moore and Peter Cook. Obviously, since neither Moore nor Cook are in this remake it's not going to be nearly as funny. Brendan Frasier stars as a loser has been desperately in love with a colleague for four years that he has never actually talked to. When he says to himself that he would give anything to have that woman, the Devil shows up (played by Elizabeth Hurley who is cute, but doesn't make a very convincing Devil) and offers to trade his soul for seven wishes. Even though the original is far, far superior to this remake, this film provides some (cheap) laughs and provides slight entertainment.
