Escape From the Planet of the Apes

It is the third in the "Planet of the Apes" series and improves greatly from its predecessor, "Beneath the Planet of the Apes." It actually begins as a light-hearted comedy; Cornelius and Zira escape from Earth before it blows up and passes backwards through the time warp which Charlton Heston once traveled through. When these talking chimps arrive in the 1970's United States, they become famous throughout the world but the National Defense is afraid that they may eventually result in the destruction of the human race. A good addition to the series, but don't see this one first.
