Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Could very possibly be John Hughes' best work to date! Matthew Broderick plays the memorable Ferris Bueller, High School sick-faker extraordinare. Believing that he'll be going too far to stay home from school ten times during a semester, he wants to make his ninth time a blast. So he calls his best friend, gets his girlfriend out of class and together go out on the town! The film is wonderfully funny done with wit and style. Very, very few adolescent comedies get this good; it's pure, unadulterated fun! Jeffrey Jones' character is great as Principal Rooney who is out to catch Ferris Bueller red-handed. This film was actually nominated for the American Film Institute's 100 best movies ever made!
