Forget Paris

Billy Crystal directs in this entertaining vehicle about a disturbed basketball referee and his relationship with a woman he met in Paris. It-s told in a well-done ensemble of pasted together flashbacks and earns a place just below City Slickers and When Harry Met Sally as Crystal's top funny flicks. Debra Winger does an excellent job as Crystal's slightly agitated love. A higher-class romance comedy, but still isn't great.
